The project is a continuation of two other projects, namely EUPA and EUPA_NEXT.
EUPA was a Leonardo Development of Innovation project and was described as best practice. It was a highly successful project that ambitiously targeted the development and testing of a qualification framework and associated assessment, training tools and materials targeting personal assistants in Cyprus, Greece and Slovakia. EUPA developed a qualification framework for personal assistants in 4 different EQF levels. The project developed the curricula and training materials only of level two as well as an assessment tool for level 2.
EUPA_NEXT was an Erasmus KA2 project that was also characterized as best practice and it built on EUPA by reviewing the qualification framework to be used for administration personnel in general, not only personal assistants. It developed certified curricula and materials in all four levels as well as ISO17024 certified assessment tools for all four levels. The materials were developed to be used in a classroom setting.
